This necklace features a cobalt blue dichroic glass cross on an iridescent dichroic background. It’s strung on a dainty silver plate chain , beaded and accented with sodalite beads and chunky cobalt sea glass.

I hand built this wonderful bowl in a slightly asymmetrical square shape, with a rolled rim, round pedestal foot and multiple layers of rich texture.

It features an inner glaze in a gorgeous sea green color with deep cobalt and iridescent turquoise fused dichroic glass accent in the center. The outside is finished in a matte dark steel glaze and hand burnished in shades of gold, silver, copper patina and a tiny smidgen of red.
Relax, my functional pieces are made to be both admired and used. I do recommend hand washing after using, rather than using commercial soaps in the dishwasher that will dull the shine on the dichroic glass surface.

CTC Jewelry

I’m very excited about the new contemporary jewelry line in development with very close friend Cindy, who is my Official Partner in All Things Sparkly.

The new mixed media jewelry line features natural metals like copper and fine silver, handmade fused glass, semi precious stones, copper PMC and even paper! It’s shaping up to be pretty awesome.

Proceeds will benefit CTC International, a non-profit organization that works tirelessly to bring hope and a future to the children of Maai Mahui, Kenya, who have been orphaned by the terrible AIDS epidemic in Africa.

Cindy’s son, Zane Wilemon, is the heart and soul of this wonderful organization and splits his time between fund raising in the US and working directly with the kids in Maai Mahui. (He’s there right now actually..) The focus of CTC is “to create economic, education, community, environment and health initiatives which brings empowerment and therefore transformation.”

Our new CTC line is just getting started but soon you’ll see pieces show up in my Etsy store. Stay tuned but feel free to take a little peek at what we have so far.

Carnelian ‘Broken’ Cross

I call this design my ‘Broken Cross’ pendant. They symbolize how God can take even the most broken pieces of your life and make you whole again. Some are multicolored, festive and bright color explosions and others are single color segmented crosses.

This pendant features tiny muti-colored squares of dichroic glass on a red swirled dichroic background. It’s beaded with carnelian and gold rounds and hangs on a fine gold plate chain.

Whoohoo Angels

My Whoohoo Angels make me laugh. I think it’s the way their wings look like they have them thrown up in the air in happiness. It’s a pretty short step from there to imagine them yelling “whooohoooo!” at the top of their lungs. This Pink-on-Pink Angel looks particularly sweet with the glistening background.

(Angels don’t yell you say? Piffle! Where else would be the perfect place to “use your outside voice” than in heaven?)
