I walk a little in both the glass and ceramic world and sometimes I think that neither one knows quite what to do with me. But this fascination has led me to develop my own unique blend of both mediums that I call Glass Fused Ceramics.
But with this fascination has also come the deep feeling that I am supposed to be creating my art for a purpose, not for just a profit. I am completely fascinated with the shape of the cross and find myself using it as a primary theme in my work over and over again. The more I experiment with clay and glass together, clarifying my artistic style, the more certain I am that glorifying God with the gifts of artistry and talent He has given me. And that’s what I am supposed to do with the rest of my life.
